my new low in selfishness

I just learned that one of my favorite authors, pen named Robert Jordan, passed away. His death is saddening...and also maddening! He was working on the 12th and final book of his epic science fiction series when he succumbed to a rare blood disease. I have read 8000+ pages of this story, and now as we get to the final payoff, the questions answered, the ends tied up, we get nothing! What a shameful thing to happen to such a great story...it deepens the tragedy of his early death.
